Grants are primarily directed towards individuals, groups and organisations in country areas and rural towns. Grants are made for projects and activities in the following categories: children, care, elderly, community, conservation, counselling, education, up to a maximum grant of $1,500. This Trust was established in 1982 by WDFF (now known as Rural Women New Zealand) to carry out, promote and assist such acts and purposes which are in accordance with the law of New Zealand and for the time being deemed to be charitable.
